Workshop PCM® for Teams

Turn differences within your team into collaboration you can feel.

When people speak different languages, you don't need more meetings. You need more understanding. PCM for Teams provides the team with a common language for communication, motivation, and stress management.

Process Communication Model® is a methodology developed in collaboration with NASA.

Differences are normal and useful. Tension is not.

When people's styles, perceptual filters, and needs go misunderstood, the team wastes energy on misinterpretations, tension, and avoidable friction.

Messages get lost along the way

Meetings get tense, feedback gets misinterpreted, and conflicts are left unspoken or drag on.

Stress and demotivation

Constant pressure drains energy, initiative, and the willingness to collaborate.

Change met with resistance

Roles, priorities, or processes change, but the team remains stuck in “how things used to be”

Lack of clarity and blurred accountability

Overlaps, assumptions, and that familiar “not my job” attitude appear.

What is PCM for Teams?

PCM for Teams is a hands-on PCM course for teams that want to work better together, not just talk more about collaboration.

Process Communication Model® doesn't label people. It is based on the idea that each of us has all six personality types within our internal structure, in varying combinations. Instead of making assumptions, the team learns to observe communication preferences, psychological needs, and early distress signals.

We don't change people. We change the way we connect with one another.

Why a PCM workshop?

How we work with your team

  1. Understanding the context

    We start with the real people, challenges, and goals of your team.

  2. Uncovering the PCM Profiles®

    Prior to the course, each participant completes an online questionnaire, which generates their individual PCM Profile®. This describes in detail the structure of their personality, communication preferences, strengths, and behaviours that can occur in distress.

  3. Putting the model to work

    Team members gain a deeper understanding of themselves and see firsthand how their personality structure differs from that of their peers. We explore these differences through exercises, discussions, and scenarios grounded in your day-to-day reality.

  4. Translating into real-world situations

    We connect these insights directly to meetings, feedback, change, priorities, and everyday working relationships.

Every intervention is tailored to the team’s context, never to an off-the-shelf scenario.

The PCM Profile® helps participants better understand their own personality structure and equips the team with a common language to discuss differences with greater clarity and respect.

What does the team actually learn in a PCM seminar?

  1. How to recognize their colleagues' communication preferences
  2. How to choose the right invitation to dialogue, rather than simply repeating the same message
  3. How to identify the psychological needs that sustain motivation
  4. How to spot early distress signals before they escalate into conflict
  5. How to navigate difficult conversations effectively
  6. How to turn personality differences into team assets

What changes within the team after a PCM course?

Messages that actually connect

Fewer assumptions, greater ability to tailor the message to the listener.

Motivation and engagement

A clearer understanding of what fuels people’s energy, gives them purpose, and inspires them to contribute.

Greater clarity through change

Better conversations around priorities, accountability, tension, and adaptability.

PCM for Teams is ideal for:

  • Newly formed teams or those navigating recent organizational changes;
  • Managers who want to reduce tensions without avoiding difficult conversations;
  • Departments in need of a shared language for effective collaboration;
  • Diverse teams navigating varied work styles and personality profiles;
  • Leaders looking to foster greater initiative, accountability, and trust;

PCM for Teams is NOT the right fit for teams that:

  • Are looking for quick manipulation hacks rather than actionable tools for authentic working relationships;
  • Expect a quick-fix silver bullet to replace open dialogue and personal accountability;
  • Are unwilling to actively engage, practice, and reflect on their own communication habits;
  • Expect a PCM workshop to fix structural business issues, poor decisions, or ambiguous roles in their place;

PCM® is not a magic fix. It is a practical framework that becomes truly valuable when people choose to use it together.

Your team’s differences can become its greatest asset.

A brief conversation is all it takes to outline what would best support your team right now.
